Caribou Migration

Feel the gentle breeze from the swift caribou, the hum of the earth and the rhythmic clobbering of hooves during the spring and fall migrations of caribou. David will lead you to the migratory grounds of the Qamanirjuaq herd to witness one of the truly remarkable moments of the natural world.

The Qamanirjuaq caribou herds migrate in search of food and follow predictable routes shaped by snow and temperatures. Each spring they return to their natal grounds, to birth baby caribou. This day-long ATV adventure takes you to a scenic viewing spot, offering a front row seat to the migration route. A lunch will be provided while David will share incredible stories and tales of Inuit and caribou interactions.
